Sharon Reutens Speech-Language Therapist and Counsellor

Sharon has 15 years of experience in Human Resources in a Multi-National Corporation before making a career switch close to a decade ago to work with children and teens with speech and language impairment and associated disorders such as Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorder and Dyslexia. She is a fully certified Speech and Language Therapist with the Allied Health Professions Council.

 

A mother of 2 young adults, her passion in working with children and adolescents in mainstream schools who may be struggling with language difficulties which hinder their learning and those who face challenges with social communication, stems from her own amazing journey of discovery with her own child with ADHD. 

Fluent in English and conversant in Mandarin, Sharon is a qualified professional counsellor who has counselled individuals, and children with different life challenges, including but not limited to stress and anxiety, grief and loss, adjustment problems, parenting and relationship issues.  She employs an eclectic approach based on person-centered (Rogerian), motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral techniques, according to the needs of the client. Sharon is a certified Transactional Analysis practitioner.


She has provided training in various workshops and academic certificate programs throughout her career.

About

Serena Lim Educational Therapist and Educational Psychologist 

 

Serena is a registered psychologist with the Singapore Psychological Society. She is also trained in the Orton-Gillingham approach to reading remediation and has more than 14 years of experience in working with children with dyslexia and other learning disorders.

Serena also conducts psycho-educational assessments to ascertain learning conditions such as Dyslexia and ADHD.

 

She is also one of the co-authors of “Parenting a Child with Learning Disorders: Minding the Gaps from a Psycho-educational Perspective”.

 

As a mother of two lovely children, she shares in the enthusiasm and perseverance of other parents and looks forward to the lifelong learning journey of parenthood.

Daisy Tan Educational Therapist and Educational Psychologist 

 

Daisy is a registered psychologist with the Singapore Psychological Society and a SRP-approved supervisor. She has been working with children in hospitals, schools and early intervention centres since 2011. She has experience with assessments and intervention across a range of developmental, social-emotional and learning disabilties such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Anxiety disorders, Selective Mutism and Dyselxia.

As a mother of two, Daisy has a keen interest in parenting work and believes in working closely with caregivers to build strong, healthy parent-child relationships for positive and meaningful outcomes. She is certified and experienced in delivering evidence-based parenting programmes/approaches such as the Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE), Good Enough Parenting, the Routines-Based Model and Signposts for Building Better Behaviour.
